Food for Thought
Founded in 1988, Food For Thought is a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to serving the nutritional needs of Sonoma County residents living with HIV/AIDS and other critical illnesses. We provide free weekly groceries including canned and boxed food, frozen prepared meals, fresh produce, nutritional supplements, vitamins, and whatever other goodies are on hand, for as long as these services are needed. We offer support in English and Spanish.
We currently provide food to more than 675 people, including men, women, and dependent children of parents. While many clients are able to select their food at our beautiful facility, more than 1/3 of our clients receive delivery service because they are home-bound due to ill health or lack of transportation.
